This was a once in a lifetime experience being able to walk around the ruins of Herculaneum. I was able to experience the history of this area and was completely submerged into all the facts across the ruins. There were so many delicate intricacies which have been preserved so well.Sara

As promised, we quickly entered the Pompeii site through the lower gate after collecting our paper entrance ticket. There are several secure parking lots close to this gate. The site itself is truly magnificent and moving. We spent 6.5 hours there, and even then, we gave up on several areas! We didn't book the houses outside the main site. For children, we recommend the children's museum at Porta Sarno, which is well air-conditioned, full of felt-tip pens for drawing and not very crowded. Perhaps it lacks a play area for parents to relax while the little ones run around safely?Miglė

Get to see an exceptional mosaic depicting Alexander the Great's triumph over the Persians, enjoy the beauty of Pompeian wall paintings, and admire classical sculptures such as the Farnese Bull and Atlas. Delve into the museum's most intriguing section, the Secret Cabinet, where a collection of erotic artifacts are housed, gathered from Pompeii's bars, brothels, and homes. Pompeii
With roots reaching back nearly 2,000 years, Pompeii holds a significant place in both myth and history. Uncovered in 1748 AD following the catastrophic eruption of Mt. A visit here promises an immersive journey into the past, where one can explore the remnants of daily life frozen in time.
Spend approximately 4 hours exploring the vast array of attractions, from strolling through the Forum to admiring the Basilica or simply enjoying a moment of tranquility near the amphitheater.
