What to expect
Warner Bros. Studio Tour London
Once you pass through the studio doors, the movies come to life. This is where the magic was physically built; you’ll walk across the actual stone floor of the Great Hall and stand inches away from the authentic costumes worn by the cast.
Features:
-
Iconic sets: Step into the majestic Great Hall, wander through the shadows of the Forbidden Forest, and marvel at the glittering marble of Gringotts Wizarding Bank. You’ll even get to peer into Dumbledore’s Office to see the Pensieve and ancient wizarding artefacts.
-
Behind-the-scenes secrets: Discover the artistry of the prop masters and creature effects departments. From the intricate detail of the Wand Shop to the green-screen technology used for broomstick flights, you'll learn exactly how the impossible was made real on screen.
-
The studio experience: Beyond the sets, you can enjoy a refreshing Butterbeer (not included), explore the expansive gift shop for exclusive mementoes, and take advantage of countless photo opportunities at the Hogwarts Express.
Harry Potter Film Locations Walking Tour
Before heading to the studios, you’ll discover that magic is hidden in plain sight across London. Your guide will lead you through a mix of famous landmarks and tucked-away alleys that served as the architectural inspiration for the films. It’s a chance to see how the "real" London was transformed into a land of sorcery.
Features:
-
Cinematic locations: Relive the thrill of the films at Platform 9¾ at King’s Cross Station and cross the bridges over the Thames that featured in the series’ most sweeping aerial shots. You’ll also visit Lambeth Bridge and the vibrant Borough Market.
-
The real Diagon Alley: Visit Leadenhall Market, the stunning Victorian structure that served as the exterior for Diagon Alley in the first film. Your guide will share trivia about how these historic locations were scouted and filmed.
-
Small-group storytelling: Because this is a small-group tour, you’ll have plenty of time to ask your guide burning questions, participate in trivia, and hear "insider" stories about the production’s time filming in the capital.
