    The Story

Marjorie Prime tells the story of individuals from a distant future who are faced with the challenge of bringing back those who have passed away in order to keep their memories alive. Set in the early days of artificial intelligence, the play follows Marjorie, an 85-year-old woman struggling with her fading recollections and the pain of loss. With her new companion, Marjorie is able to explore the complexity of life and death, as well as the power of remembrance. The play also examines how technology could interact with emotions and memories in a world without physical pain or suffering.
