Casa Batlló was truly amazing to visit. It is an incredibly inspirational place, both inside and out and one I had been looking forward to seeing for a very long time. I found myself immersed in the flowing forms of Gaudi's wonderful designs and the audio guide added both context and insight. I highly recommend visiting the rooftop It was a fabulous experience. Casa Milà is impressive both in scale and function and also displays Gaudi's signature style in its flowing forms. The rooftop environment is awesome and something not to be missed. Once again the audio guide illuminated my experience and understanding of this fantastic building.

Wonderful experience for our whole family. Booking was easy via Headout and queuing was simple. Once in, the architecture was breathtaking! Each room in the apartment was laid out sensitively and evoked the sense of the era in which it was built. Wonderful views from the room and knowledgeable commentary at every step. The loft section was amazing and the models gave a whole new perspective on Gaudi's work. The roof experience was simply tremendous. Being able to see Sagrada Familia from the roof was priceless! Definitely worth every penny and our whole family thoroughly enjoyed the visit.

Excited about the history and very fascinated with everything. Visiting Casa Batlló and Park Güell was a truly magical experience, a total immersion in the limitless genius and creativity of Antoni Gaudí. Casa Batlló, with its undulating facade and vivid colors, looks like a dream come true. Every detail - from the bone-shaped railings to the ceramic mosaics that reflect the light as if they were waves of the sea - transmits life, movement and art. To walk through its interiors is to feel how architecture becomes visual poetry. For its part, Park Güell is a place that combines nature, art and spirituality. Its winding paths, columns inspired by tree trunks and benches covered with trencadís (ceramic mosaic) create an atmosphere that invites you to relax and admire the city from above. The views of Barcelona from the main square are simply spectacular. Both places are a testament to Gaudí's overflowing imagination and Barcelona's artistic spirit. I came away amazed, inspired and with the feeling of having walked inside a living work of art.

The visit to the park was unsatisfactory, our family spent more than 100€ to see a park that apart from the first part where there are Gaudi's works (which can be seen even from outside) otherwise has nothing outstanding. On top of that (rightly) until a few years ago admission was free. The app is definitely poor and the audio guide there is no Italian version. Not to mention downloading which even with the park's Wi-Fi connection is very slow and takes a long time. What's more, the museum is chargeable at an additional cost to the entrance fee. I am sure Gaudi would not approve of this management of his park.

There are some very beautiful areas of the park such as the main entrance, the staircase, the salamander, and the hypostyle hall. Nature Square, bench mosaics aside, is very bare and crowded. Unfortunately, the directions of the areas to visit are not very clear and it is in my opinion difficult to be able to make a complete tour visiting all the areas of interest without passing by the same place several times precisely because of the unclear directions with an unnecessary expenditure of effort (the park is on a hill so many stairs to climb). Price too high for the experience.

The crowds were large, but that was to be expected and didn't bother us. What is surprising is the pricing policy for tickets with or without the audio guide. I bought a ticket for 27 EUR with the audio guide. The ticket is about 7 EUR more expensive than the ticket without the audio guide. The audio guide is - especially at the first stations - not very informative and not worth the money.

The visits to these emblematic houses of Gaudi exceeded my expectations, they are well organized and the houses themselves are fantastic and show that Gaudi was a true genius, amazement is the word that best defines them. The only downside I can put was the amount of visitors in Casa Batllo, in Casa Mila it was much more comfortable.

What to bring

Park Güell

Wear comfortable walking shoes as this experience involves a fair amount of walking on uneven paths and multiple stairways.

During the summer months, it is recommended to bring hats/caps to protect from the sun, and water for hydration due to high temperatures.

For visitors with mobility problems, Park Güell offers two free wheelchairs for hire (subject to availability).

The tourist coach car park has three places for people with reduced mobility.

Park Güell

During peak season, April to August, expect a considerable wait time at entry.

Please note that access to the Park Güell Salamander is temporarily restricted for about a month due to ongoing restoration to preserve Gaudí’s work.

Note: Park Güell has three entrances—choose what suits you! Av. del Santuari de Sant Josep de la Muntanya has escalators (though it’s steep), Carretera del Carmel (nº 23) is ideal for coach drop-off, and Carrer d’Olot brings you right into the Monumental Zone.

If you'd like to skip a lot of climbing and stairs, a great option is to take public transport like Bus #24 or grab a taxi. This will get you to the entrance at Carretera del Carmel, which is just a short 100 meters from the bus stop. You'll find the area with the monuments only another 100 meters in, and mostly flat 200-meter stroll!

Access to the Monumental Zone is regulated for preservation, and certain areas may be closed for renovations. Key locations include the Entrance, Guardhouse, Monumental Staircase, Hypostyle Room (inside and outside), Austria Gardens, Nature Square, pathways, viaducts, and Larrard House Ramp.

Children under 6 can enter for free, they just need free tickets. For a seamless entry, book their free tickets during checkout.

Guests are allowed to bring outside food and water into the venue. However, they must consume it in the designated picnic areas only.

Use the Headout app for easy offline access to audio guides. Just make sure that the audio guides are downloaded before your visit. You can also switch languages within the app!

La Pedrera–Casa Milà

Please note that the duration of the visit would be approximately between 60 to 90 minutes.
