Truly impressive and an absolute must-see in Athens. I visited around 3pm; the line was long but moved at a reasonable pace. Wear comfortable sneakers—the marble can be slippery, and there’s quite a bit of walking. I also booked the audio guide, but honestly didn’t find it very useful. The views and history speak for themselves.

We really recommend this. The tickets were easy to use, and we were able to get in without any hassle. The night before, I went through the audio guide and took some notes so that I could give my friends my own tour during the walk. Because of that, we were able to appreciate the Theater of Dionysus, the Parthenon, and the rest of the Acropolis with much greater understanding. Be sure to bring water and wear sturdy shoes, because you’ll be doing quite a bit of walking and some sections can be slippery. The view of Athens is beautiful, and for us, it was one of the best activities during our city trip.

The Acropolis is truly spectacular and stunning. Seeing it from the outside does not do it justice - you must get tickets and see the Parthenon, Erechtheion, and Temple of Athena Nike for yourself. I read a great book about the Parthenon beforehand, so knw the history. I thought the audio guide was good, but slow. I liked how it was broken into parts, so you can pick and choose how you want to listen, view, and walk around. Because of crowds, you want to choose areas independently and the audio guide does allow for that. Get tickets for 8am. The line moves quickly.

The grandness of the Acropolis was what stood out to me, and the fact that millions of people over decades have walked the same paths. It's worth meandering about. But it's also worth seeing it from Mars Hill, and the other high points in Greece, even roof top dining experiences at sunlight. Walk around Athens at various times of day and notice it from every angle. Visit this first things at the beginning of your trip.

The activity was great but the communication upfront wasn't too good. I did not realise that I needed a kids' ticket separately to get in and it wasn't disclosed until I asked proactively. For you guys maybe you should mention somewhere that if you need children's tickets, you need to separately purchase them or get to the Acropolis ticketing booth early and get them in advance.

An absolute must-see in Athens! Visiting the Acropolis was an incredible experience. Seeing structures like the Parthenon up close is absolutely breathtaking, and the panoramic views of the city from the top are unmatched. It does get crowded and there isn’t much shade, so I highly recommend going early in the morning or later in the evening. Don't skip this if you're in Greece!

To get to the Acropolis, take Metro Line 2 and exit at Acropolis station. Walk along Dionysiou Areopagitou Street, and you’ll see the Theatre of Dionysus on your right.

After booking, you’ll receive an email with instructions for accessing your ticket and audio tour. If you don’t see the email in your inbox, check your spam or junk folder.

Be sure to download your ticket and audio tour using Wi-Fi before your visit, as the mobile signal on Acropolis Hill can be weak or unreliable.

The audio tour works on Android (5.0 or later) and iOS smartphones with 100-150 MB of free space. It is not compatible with Windows Phones, iPhone 5/5C or older, iPod Touch 5th gen or older, iPad 4th gen, or iPad Mini 1st gen.
