The visit was pleasant. A little too crowded, though, and difficult to move around the popular sites. The audio guide is very well done. A few language errors created by the ia robot. I know what I'm talking about because I'm an audio professional. The steps in the guide are well thought out, although it's not easy to walk around and follow the chronological order of the audio guide. Despite our best efforts to understand, we didn't visit in the same order. A few more photos and snapshots might help to suggest the right route. Is it possible to download the guide? That would be nice as we paid for it. Thank you

My visit to the Acropolis and Parthenon was absolutely unforgettable. The ticketing process was smooth and convenient, and having the optional audio guide made a huge difference. I enjoyed it. I've been to the Acropolis many times. The audio guide, while a little hokey at times (Maria ... really?), gave me a more coherent appreciation of the layout, history, and architecture of all the buildings on site then previous visits when I wandered on my own. I would have liked more information on the amazing feat of Manolis Glezos and Apostolos Santas tearing down the Nazi flag from the eastern end of the Acropolis, the first act of resistance to the Nazi occupation. But overall I thoroughly enjoyed the guided tour..

The place was dreamlike, the application easy to use. The ticket was changed at destination without problems, only that the day and time booked did not allow the entrance due to a staff strike so they put together all the schedules in one and the place was full of additional people and it was close to noon and it was hot losing the sense of getting the ticket at 8:00 am. Luckily we were able to get in and see this marvel. I am sorry for the other people who had to travel at noon and were not allowed in.

Very easy to navigate as a first time visitor. Staff are very friendly and speak english. We were slightly late but there was no issues with the time. It was pretty busy, but that was expected because it was a Sunday afternoon and the weather was really good. The lines to get up to the acropolis were quite long but still enjoyable. More time to take in the sights and talk to other fellow travellers. Truly breathtaking views and great photo opportunities for your instagram posts.

Getting a chance to see the acropolis was great! My wife and I enjoyed the audio tour which was great to listen to while wandering through the temples! We did discover that the audio tour time says things close at 8pm but please be aware that the acropolis only stays open until 6/6:30 so plan accordingly if you come later in the day. Overall, I would recommend this for someone who wanting to go on the tour themselves with a good audio guide.

The audio tour was very good, although I would've liked to her a bit more about mythology and to see pictures next to a script that I could read, as the audio sometimes lost me. I also feel that a mark up of $15 for the audioguides is a bit unfair (this id debatable, of course), but what I did not like is that the platform says there are "limited" slots per day to purchasethe option with audioguide, as if you could run out of links to an app.

Please note that the Athens city audio tour is not available in Chinese.

To get to the Acropolis, take Metro Line 2 and exit at Acropolis station. Walk along Dionysiou Areopagitou Street, and you’ll see the Theatre of Dionysus on your right.

After booking, you’ll receive an email with instructions for accessing your ticket and audio tour. If you don’t see the email in your inbox, check your spam or junk folder.

Be sure to download your ticket and audio tour using Wi-Fi before your visit, as the mobile signal on Acropolis Hill can be weak or unreliable.

The audio tour works on Android (5.0 or later) and iOS smartphones with 100-150 MB of free space. It is not compatible with Windows Phones, iPhone 5/5C or older, iPod Touch 5th gen or older, iPad 4th gen, or iPad Mini 1st gen.
