From Athens: Day Trip to Delphi Site & Museum

The archeological site was incredible - would definitely recommend! My only complaints are these: - we prepaid for 3 archaeological site/museum tickets, but only one ticket was provided to us so we ended up needing to purchase our own onsite - the time available was really only enough for the archaeological site or the museum, not both; we loved the archaeological site, but I'm not really sure what we missed at the museum!

Marianna, our tour guide. She has an incredible amount of knowledge, which she conveys in a friendly manner. Our bus driver was also highly professional. Delphi itself is simply fascinating. We were lucky and had bright sunshine. Lunch was also good. It was a bit hectic, but still within acceptable limits.

The tour went very smoothly, and our guide, Christopher, was very attentive to our needs. The archaeological site is simply spectacular, and the museum houses some truly valuable artifacts. Despite the traffic, the guide managed our time well and gave us a great tour overall.

I really liked the trip to Delphi with Stefanos - I couldn't really feel the theee hour drive to there we were entertained and educated with various topics of Greek culture and history. Then we had two hours on our own in Delphi (maybe I would have preferred 2.5 hours) to enjoy the site at our own speed which was great. The stops at Delphi town and another beauriful spot were the finishing touches to enjoy the nature around.

An absolutely amazing tour to Delphi. Everything was well organized and the guide Stefanos was very knowledgeable and engaging. I would recommend taking this tour to anyone who has an interest in history, culture, and visiting beautiful landscapes.

The tour was great, and our tour guide, Mikael, was amazing. He made the whole tour super dynamic. I highly recommend the tour. Once in Delphi, if the weather is nice, I recommend going up to the stadium, we only had like 40 minutes to go up and back to the museum but it was enough if you have a light peace. The views are amazing from up there. The lunch was prolably the weakest point of the tour. To be honest it was nice for being part of th tour but not great for Greek standards I would say. But I guess Arachova (where you stop to eat) does not have that many other options The pictures are views from the up the sanctuary of Delphi (on the way back from th stadium) and the second one of the views from the clock tower of Arachova. As you can see both views are amazing
