CoupleVerified bookingLast week5/5### The Diamond Tour turned Tokyo Tower into a core memory — 5/5 Tokyo Tower was already one of those places I knew I wanted to see, but I figured if I might only do it once, I might as well make it a little special. So my best friend and I booked the **Tokyo Tower Diamond Tour**, and I’m extremely glad we did. We booked the 4:00 p.m. tour, and somehow ended up being the only two people in our group. That completely changed the experience. What impressed me most was that the staff **did not scale anything back** just because there were only two of us. They gave us the full experience as if the room were packed. Mr. Tokyo was singing his heart out, the staff brought the same level of enthusiasm, and the whole thing somehow never felt awkward despite the fact that we were basically getting a private performance. That level of hospitality alone earned the experience five stars for me. The Diamond Tour also adds enough extras that I felt like the upgrade was worthwhile. We used a private elevator, received a complimentary drink, had a photo taken that we could keep, got access to the lounge, and learned quite a bit about Tokyo Tower itself and its history. The lounge has coffee, water, and some light snacks, although I wouldn’t book the tour specifically for that part. The history and guided portions were actually some of my favorite parts. Seeing Tokyo from above is obviously beautiful, but understanding more about how the tower came to exist made the visit feel like more than just riding an elevator to an observation deck. Our timing definitely played a role in making the day special. At 4:00 p.m., our particular Diamond Tour was completely empty besides us, which gave us an experience I absolutely would not expect everyone to receive. If you book around sunset or another popular time, I would assume your group will be much larger. Even without the accidental private tour, though, I would still recommend the Diamond experience if you have the budget and want Tokyo Tower to feel like more than a quick sightseeing stop. For us, it turned a famous landmark into one of those random travel moments that I’ll probably remember forever.YYusuf K
CoupleVerified bookingAug 20265/5Everything went just as expected; we were even able to choose our own time slot, so we could flexibly fit the Tokyo Tower into our individual itinerary. That was really great, and the nearby shrine really topped it all off. I highly recommend it—even if you book the Tokyo Skytree, I think you should definitely include the Tokyo Tower in your plans as well. Another tip for those who like a challenge: if you skip the elevator up the Tokyo Tower and walk up instead, you’ll receive a wonderful certificate as a souvenir and memento of the challenge you’ve conquered!GGuy E
CoupleVerified booking2 weeks ago5/5I really enjoyed Tokyo tower's upper deck view of the city. Skytree is higher, but with Tokyo tower you can really see the city's evolution and the entirety of Tokyo bay. Highly recommended!KKacey G
