I'm really glad I book the ticket from Headout cause it was easy and no hassle. The palace is amazing indeed, but sadly nothing much to see except for the interior design and the "mini museum" for each room. I expect more tho, but glad I spent the sunset time here cause it's really beautiful!

Loved the unique experience witnessed in Qsar Al Watan and the National Aquarium Abu Dhabi. Qsar Al Watan is the Best place to visit if you are travelling to Abu Dhabi and in need to gain in touch with city's culture. National Aquarium Abu Dhabi allows you to witness different animals across the globe and the experience is awesome. At first it was very overwhelming, the sheer size and scale of the building (once inside). After a while you get used to it. Magnificent architecture, literally a masterpiece. What I found the most interesting was the collection of historical literary artefacts. Our little two year old had such fun running around and making buddies with the security staff.

    It's a marvelous creation of mankind. I had a great experience visiting the Qasr Al watan and I would recommend to all the visitors visiting Abu Dhabi. Must visit place if you are visiting the capital city of UAE.

  • An architectural marvel

    Nestled in Abu Dhabi, Qasr Al Watan is a presidential palace that was recently opened to the public. One of the finest examples of Arabic architecture and craftsmanship, the palace's design signifies its heritage and its future vision. The palace has its own library with books on a wide range of subjects including archaeology, history, heritage, memoirs, biographies, human and social sciences, statistics, administration, culture, literature, arts, etc. It also has its own gift shops; one at the Visitors Center and the other at the palace building. One of the major attractions of the palace is its light and sound show, which depicts the history and growth of the UAE as a nation. This show has been divided into three acts: past, present, and future. Also get a chance to hold a falcon, take some pictures with them, and learn more about their nature and behavior at a falcon experience in front of the palace's main door.

    • It's recommended to wear respectful clothing when in the palace. Knees and shoulders should be covered.

    What's not allowed

    • Consumption of food and drink is not permitted in the great hall or exhibition rooms.

    • Due to venue restrictions, pets cannot tag along for this experience.

    • Prohibited items include penknives or knives of any kind, scissors, long umbrellas, paints/aerosols, bicycles, folding bikes, roller-skates or skateboards, large bags that can’t fit through airport-style security scanners, and CS gas (tear gas) or any weapon.

    • Re-entry is not permitted.

    Accessibility

    • This experience is wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible.

    • Wheelchairs are available for rent free of charge and strollers can be rented for AED 20.

    • Facilities: Free parking.

    • Please make sure to keep your mobile phones in silent mode before entering the palace.

    • The Palace in Motion show starts at 7:45pm, with the last entry at 7:15pm.

    • The falcon experience will be held in front of the palace's main gate from 22 Jan to Mar 1, 2025.

    • Please note that the falcon experience will be held on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at 10am, 11:15am, 2pm, 3:15pm, and 4:30pm. However, during the first week, sessions will take place only on Wednesday and Friday before transitioning to the regular schedule.

    • Your voucher will be emailed to you shortly.

    • Display the voucher on your mobile phone with a valid photo ID at the redemption point.
