Orlando for families

The Space Shuttle Atlantis exhibit was amazing! As a visitor from New Zealand who grew up watching the Space Shuttle program as a child from the very beginning, it was a once in a lifetime experience that made me quite emotional - and that was before we saw the tributes to the crews of Challenger and Columbia. Purchasing our tickets online through Headout was easy and hassle-free. Only downside for us was having to pay an additional $15 for parking when we arrived (it wasn't obvious when purchasing our tickets that parking would incur an extra charge).

I am 67 years old and have followed the space program since I was a child bringing it all to life at the space center was extremely moving to me

Seeing the James Webb telescope being launched and deployed. It was an amazing feat of engineering. Going through the Hall of Fame was great as we got to see a pictuire of an astronaut we knew from our home town His name is Steve Hawley.

The highlight of my visit was listening and talking with Mark Lee. He was warm, engaging, personable and very responsive to all questions adked.

Very informative, engaging, and put the disaster into a human perspective today. Most just see it as a historical event. The exhibit brings it into the modern age. Loved all the authentic items, too. The axrual piece of ice was a nice touch as well.
