CoupleVerified booking3 weeks ago5/5Belvedere Palace was one of my favorite places to visit in Vienna. The palace is absolutely beautiful, and the gardens are lovely, especially on a sunny day. The art collection is also impressive, with Klimt’s “The Kiss” being the highlight. It can get quite busy, but the atmosphere is still great and there is plenty to see. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in Vienna!RRosanna L
CoupleVerified booking3 weeks ago5/5An absolute masterpiece in Vienna. The Upper Belvedere takes your breath away with its majestic Baroque architecture and the gold of Klimt’s *The Kiss*. An unforgettable experience that combines art with the beauty of the spectacular gardens.IInmaculada P
SoloVerified bookingLast week5/5The first location we chose was an excellent choice, as it is a Baroque palace and complex in a beautiful setting; its history makes it a landmark in the Viennese capital. We didn’t have to wait long to go in, and admission was very quick—no lines. The admission price is reasonable and cheaper than at the ticket window (where you have to wait in line). The museum houses paintings by famous artists, so visitors are ready to admire them and enjoy the galleries, which are magnificent in their own right, filled with ornate decor—especially the colorful marble. There are original contemporary art pieces and compositions that, along with the current temporary exhibition dedicated to Johann Baptist Lampi (featuring paintings such as *Venus*), really caught my attention. Overall, the visit was thoroughly satisfying.RRonald S
CoupleVerified booking2 weeks ago4/5The Vienna Spanish Riding School Exercise session was very informative and worth the experience. The tickets were reasonably priced and easy to obtain through Headout. Photos of horses and riders were not permitted at the Vienna Spanish Riding during the session. Just a point to note that the Belvedere Palace and the School are not in the same locations and therefore if you purchase the combination tickets, and you are using public transport, you need to leave approximately an hour between each booking to allow you to travel to the next location and walk ( depending on which transport you choose) and especially if you are limited in walking. There is a tram that stops outside the Belvedere, however, due to road works on our visit, the route had changed slightly. Overall a nice day out.GGerardo K
CoupleVerified bookingLast week5/5Everything went smoothly: booking the tickets was easy, and once we downloaded the app, we were able to make the most of both tours, which allowed us to explore beautiful Vienna from top to bottom. The Big Bus staff we encountered, both on board and at the stops, were friendly and professional—especially Alì, whom I had the chance to chat with at the Votive Church stop. The only downside was the unbearable heat on the upper deck of the buses. I would still recommend the experience to everyone, though.
Experience Vienna in style with this great-value combo! Skip the line to admire Klimt’s famous paintings at Upper Belvedere Palace, then hop on a bus tour and discover Vienna’s iconic landmarks at your own pace.
Upper Belvedere Palace
Step into the world of Austrian art at the Upper Belvedere Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its stunning Baroque architecture and expansive art collections. The Palace is very close to stop #8 on Blue Route, accessible by a hop-on hop-off bus tour. Inside the Palace, you'll be greeted by grand marble halls, gilded stucco ceilings, and sweeping staircases. Klimt’s golden “The Kiss” shimmers in the opulent galleries, where rich reds and velvety blues adorn the walls. The palace's vast windows bathe the artwork in soft light, revealing masterpieces by Van Gogh, Monet, and Rodin. Outside the Palace, you'll find yourself in beautifully landscaped Baroque gardens, featuring perfectly manicured lawns, cascading fountains, and ornate statues. As you stroll, the grand reflecting ponds mirror the palace’s elegant façade, while the gentle hillside location offers panoramic views of the city.
