Great app. I recommend it. It was easy to buy the tickets, but they didn’t arrive right away—or even within the 2 hours specified at the time of purchase. So I sent an email to customer service, and they promptly sent me a link. The app is super easy to use and explains everything—from how to get there to the best dress code. Unfortunately, on the day of the event, the app wasn’t working for me, and I had a bit of trouble figuring out the order of the activities I’d purchased. P.S. I recommend translating the tickets when they arrive in a foreign language (in my case, Japanese) because all the information is written there.

This is an extremely creative exhibit for any age. We absolutely loved it and will be telling all of our friends to try this one! The water was so different and fun we will be talking about that part for a long time.

The audiovisual experience is simply outstanding every single time. This was my third time at teamLab, and I'd definitely go again. Plus, the fish market is nearby, so there's excellent sushi.

We loved our time at TeamLab Planet. It was our last day in Japan and we were able to get the Anytime tickets where you don't wait in line which is what we needed for the day and everything else was sold out anyway. We had a fabulous time we especially liked the lights room and the water room. We thought it was all incredibly creative and we really want to go back and spend more time there.

They found my son a wheelchair since he hurt himself minutes before our visit. We ended up having to leave early because he was in so much pain, they also got him ice before we left. Overall we didn't see much of the actual space or event, but the staff treated us so very well.

We had so much fun at teamLab!! The different exhibits were amazing and we are so glad we went. The best for us was the athletic section with all of the games and challenges. Highly recommend, 10/10.

Getting started

Arrive at teamLab Planets TOKYO near the main entrance, where staff will guide you through ticket validation and a brief security check. Lockers are available for small items, and guests are encouraged to wear pants due to mirrored surfaces in some areas.

What to expect

This contemporary museum spans over 10,000 square meters, offering a multi-sensory journey through large-scale digital artworks. Each space is designed to engage all five senses, making you an active participant in the art.

Floating Flower Garden: Step into a room filled with living orchids that move in response to your presence, creating a dynamic floral landscape.

Collecting Extinct Forest: Explore an immersive environment that blends digital projections with real elements, highlighting the connection between art and nature.

What to bring

Wear pants to avoid reflections on mirrored floors. Skirts and wide-legged clothing are not recommended.

Clothes may get wet. Bring a change of clothes or wear quick-dry clothing, especially for children.

What’s not allowed

Large bags, food and beverages, and sharp objects are not permitted inside the exhibition.

Eating, drinking, and smoking are strictly prohibited within the venue.

Pets, including guide dogs, are not allowed.

Re-entry is not allowed after you leave the venue.

Accessibility

Strollers must be left in the designated area before entering. Baby carriers are permitted inside the exhibition.

Guests with wheelchairs will be requested to transfer to the venue's available wheelchairs once inside. The number of available wheelchairs is limited. These wheelchairs are standard models without fastening devices.

This experience is not recommended for visitors with light sensitivity, back issues, or cardiac conditions. Some areas of the venue are not accessible to pregnant women.

Some areas require you to go barefoot. Please remove your shoes before entering.

Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Staff may ask guests to leave if they stay too long during busy periods.
