My honest review: teamLab Tokyo was an experience I truly waited for—and it exceeded every expectation. After missing out last year, I booked my tickets early this time, knowing this was not something to miss. As a visitor from Indonesia, I was amazed by how art, technology, and human interaction come together so seamlessly. The Forest area became my favorite, where our colored drawings came to life and interacted with the space—turning imagination into something real. More than an exhibition, teamLab Tokyo gave my family and me a moment of pure wonder—one we’ll always remember long after leaving Japan.

Teamlab Planets is one of the most magical and awe-inspiring experiences I’ve ever had! From the moment you enter, you’re completely immersed in a world where digital art, light, and nature blend seamlessly. Every installation feels alive — the moving water, responsive lights, and interactive visuals make you feel like part of the artwork itself. The attention to detail and creativity behind every room are simply breathtaking. It’s not just an exhibition, it’s a full sensory journey that awakens wonder and reflection. A must-visit destination for anyone who loves art, innovation, or pure beauty!

teamLab is a remarkable convergence of entertainment, immersion, technology, and art. Its approach has different levels of reading, so it is accessible to people of different ages and sensitivities. Some years ago, I went to one of their projects at the Tank space at the West Bund in Shanghai, and I really enjoyed it. This time I went with my daughter to Planets Tokyo show, and we had a great time. I think is not just enjoyable but makes us reflect on our condition as human beings.

Loved it, blew our minds, with what can be achieved by lights and textures. When feet also get to be included in the experience, whether it be wet, soft, spongy, hard, textured, whatever. I didn't know orchids could be grown that way. Skytree, showed how large Tokyo is from 350m above

Totally amazing! You got me at the waterfall...and what!?! Koi fish! Then you hit me with a shower of twinkling lights, surround me (360 degrees at that!) with beautiful flowers, interactive activities and a wonderful team to make a truly unforgettable experience. I wanted to go right back and do it again!

I visited on 24 Dec, a rainy day. There was literally no shelter from rain for visitors who arrived early. Plus the fact there was no shelter from the train station all the way to the entrance dampened our spirits to an otherwise immersive exhibition. I'm sure younger kids felt worst being cold and wet.

So good being able to arrive at whatever time we wanted. No need to rush on the way there or worry if we wanted to stop along the way. We still got there pretty early, but it was great to walk past all the crowds. Inside is amazing!!! We all loved it
