⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ TeamLab Tokyo was one of the most unique and immersive experiences I've ever had. From the moment we entered, every room felt like stepping into a different world where art, technology, light, sound, and nature blended seamlessly together. What impressed me most was how interactive everything was. Instead of simply looking at exhibits, you become part of them. Walking through water, seeing digital flowers bloom around you, and experiencing the breathtaking mirrored spaces created a sense of wonder for both adults and children. The exhibits are beautifully designed and constantly changing, making every moment feel magical and photo-worthy. Despite being popular, the flow was well organized, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the visit. If you're visiting Tokyo, this is an absolute must-see attraction. It's not just an art museum—it's an unforgettable sensory experience that sparks curiosity, creativity, and pure joy. Easily one of the highlights of our trip to Japan.

The event itself was just amazing. My only issue was with the line up. An easy solution to this would be the addition of a couple of drink/snack vending machines, that Japan is so famous for. That said, the line moved quickly and orderly with the direction of friendly staff. Once inside we moved from display to display and it exceeded my expectations. This location is a MUST SEE for anyone visiting Japan. I'll be visiting Team Labs Planets each time I come to Japan.

TeamLab planets is truly immersive and beyond belief! Much better than TeamLab Borderless. Although if you have vision or balance issues, you will need someone to help you through the many dark corridors, steps, and unusual flooring. But I would do it again in a heartbeat. Buy the all day pass so you don't have too wait in the massive line for timed entrance tickets.

We purchased the Premium Pass tickets to Team Lab, was the best experience, no lines, fast entry, seamless access to all aspects of the exhibition. Just a wonderful experience for my husband & I.

I was told by the helpdesk my ticket to the Tokyo sumo was entry and a box for 4 people. After I had purchased the ticket I was told this was not the case. I was given a aud$180 credit for a aud$760 ticket. I was very unhappy about this. I was then advised that the ticket was enrty for 4 people. We were very relieved at this news. But when we arrived at the meeting point we were told it was for only 1 person. I showed the Amigo tours agent the confirmation email I had and he kindly got us 4 entry tickets. The Headout website was selling tickets for a box but the Amigo tour agent said that they didn't even sell box tickets. Very confusing. The evnent was great and we really enjoyed it but the ticket confusion left us all a bit stunned. Please contact Amigo tours and make it clear what is being sold. I must say though, the Amigo and Headout staff were friendly and professional at all times. You just need to sort out what is being sold.

Het begin van je ervaring

Kom aan bij de hoofdingang van teamLab Planets TOKYO, waar het personeel je door de ticketvalidatie en een korte veiligheidscontrole leidt. Er zijn kluisjes beschikbaar voor kleine spullen en gasten wordt aangeraden een broek te dragen vanwege de spiegelende oppervlakken in sommige ruimtes.

Wat kun je verwachten?

Dit hedendaagse museum beslaat meer dan 10.000 vierkante meter en biedt een zintuiglijke reis langs grootschalige digitale kunstwerken. Elke ruimte is ontworpen om alle vijf zintuigen aan te spreken, zodat je een actieve deelnemer aan de kunst wordt.

Wat je allemaal te zien krijgt

Floating Flower Garden: stap een kamer binnen vol levende orchideeën die bewegen als reactie op jouw aanwezigheid en zo een dynamisch bloemenlandschap creëren.

Catching and Collecting Forest: verken een meeslepende omgeving waarin digitale projecties worden gecombineerd met echte elementen die de verbinding tussen kunst en natuur benadrukken.

Reflecterende wateroppervlakken: loop op blote voeten door ondiepe poelen die licht en kleur weerspiegelen, waardoor de zintuiglijke impact van elke installatie wordt versterkt.

Infinite Crystal Universe: ervaar de sensatie van zweven in een ruimte omringd door duizenden hangende led-kristallen, die een grenzeloos universum simuleren.

Forest Area (vanaf 22 jan 2025): toegang tot een nieuwe openluchtzone met interactieve digitale kunst en een café/restaurant, waardoor de creatieve ervaring wordt uitgebreid.

Upgrades

Kies voor de Premium Pass om de typische wachttijd van 30-60 minuten over te slaan en geniet van directe, flexibele toegang wanneer het jou uitkomt.

Wat mee te nemen

Draag een broek om reflecties op spiegelende vloeren te voorkomen. Rokken en kleding met wijde pijpen worden afgeraden.

Kleren kunnen nat worden. Neem schone kleren mee of draag sneldrogende kleding, dit is vooral aan te raden voor kinderen.

Wat is niet toegestaan?

Grote tassen, eten en drinken en scherpe voorwerpen zijn binnen niet toegestaan.

Eten, drinken en roken zijn binnen ten strengste verboden.

Huisdieren, inclusief geleidehonden, zijn niet toegestaan.

Na het verlaten van de locatie is het niet toegestaan om opnieuw naar binnen te gaan.

Toegankelijkheid

Kinderwagens moeten in de daarvoor bestemde ruimte worden achtergelaten voordat je naar binnen gaat. Draagzakken zijn binnen toegestaan.

Gasten met een rolstoel wordt gevraagd om over te stappen op de beschikbare rolstoelen in de zaal. Het aantal beschikbare rolstoelen is beperkt. Deze rolstoelen zijn standaardmodellen zonder bevestigingsmiddelen.

Deze ervaring wordt niet aanbevolen voor bezoekers met lichtgevoeligheid, rugproblemen of hartaandoeningen. Sommige delen van de locatie zijn niet toegankelijk voor zwangere vrouwen.

Extra informatie

In sommige delen moet je op blote voeten lopen. Doe je schoenen uit voordat je naar binnen gaat.

Kinderen jonger dan 13 jaar moeten altijd worden begeleid door een volwassene.

Het personeel mag gasten vragen te vertrekken als ze te lang blijven tijdens drukke periodes.

Faciliteiten: gratis kluisjes voor kleine spullen en 1 uur gratis parkeren doordeweeks zijn inbegrepen.

Premium Pass: met dit ticket kun je de wachtrij overslaan, maar heb je geen voorrang bij de individuele tentoonstellingen in de zaal.
