Arrive with your skip-the-line ticket and head straight in—no waiting around. You’ll remove your shoes before entering and start exploring a space that blends light, water, and motion in unexpected ways. Each room is different, and you’ll move through them at your own pace.
What to expect
Walk barefoot through water as digital koi swim around your feet. Move through mirrored rooms with hanging lights and navigate spaces where walls and floors react to your movement. Don’t miss Floating in the Falling Universe of Flowers, where petals fall around you as you walk. Some areas are dark, others have knee-deep water, and you’ll need to stay aware of your surroundings. You won’t follow a fixed path—just explore freely until you're done.
What to bring
- Carry your smartphone with internet access and your digital voucher (no screenshots/prints).
- You must remove your shoes, socks, and stockings before entry.
- Some artworks involve walking in water up to knee height—dress accordingly.
- Free flat shoes are available if you're wearing sandals or high heels.
- Bring a change of clothes for small children or wear water-friendly clothing.
- Wet clothes are not allowed in the next exhibit; towels will be provided if needed.
What’s not allowed
- Re-entry is not permitted once you exit the museum.
- Eating, drinking, and smoking are prohibited inside the venue.
- Dangerous, inappropriate, or restricted items (as determined by staff) are not allowed.
- Commercial photography or media reporting is not permitted without prior consent.
- Pets and animals, including assistance dogs, are not allowed inside.
- Visitors under the influence or displaying inappropriate behavior may be denied entry without a refund.
- Large luggage is not allowed inside due to dark corridors, water, and uneven floors.
- Some areas are not recommended for pregnant visitors due to safety concerns.
- Water-based artworks contain chlorine in safe concentrations.
- Some areas are brightly lit or very dark; proceed with caution.
- Visitors must hold their child’s hand at all times.
Accessibility
- Wheelchair users must transfer to museum-provided wheelchairs for certain areas (limited availability).
- Canes and prosthetic limbs are allowed; staff will guide you along accessible routes.
- Visitors with disabilities or small children may request alternate routes to skip certain artworks.
- Baby carriers are permitted inside the exhibition.
- Diaper-changing stations and a first-aid room for nursing/rest are available—ask staff for access.
- Free lockers are available (W23cm × D34cm × H37cm) after the entrance gate.
- Avoid visiting if you're pregnant, carrying a child, have health conditions like seizures or shortness of breath, or are sensitive to darkness, bright lights, confined spaces, or heights.

- Entry is allowed only between the opening time and the last admission (1 hour before closing).
- teamLab Planets is located in Toyosu—tickets are not valid for teamLab Borderless or other locations.
- All guests in one booking must enter together; separate entry is not allowed.
- During peak hours, staff may ask you to limit your time inside.
- Some artworks may be temporarily unavailable due to weather or maintenance.
