Meet your local guide at the designated meeting point for your selected tour. Depending on your option, begin at teamLab Borderless in Azabudai Hills before continuing to Roppongi or the Imperial Palace area.

What to expect

• Your tour begins with around 1.5–2 hours at teamLab Borderless, giving you time to explore immersive digital artworks that move across spaces and create constantly changing visual experiences.

• On the Tokyo City View option, continue with a guided stroll through Roppongi’s vibrant art district. Stop for photos with Louise Bourgeois’ iconic “Maman” spider sculpture before heading to Tokyo City View atop Mori Tower.

• From the observation deck, take in sweeping views across Tokyo and, on clear days, glimpses of Mt. Fuji. The elevated viewpoint offers a memorable perspective of the capital’s vast cityscape.

• On the Imperial Palace option, continue towards central Tokyo and meet your guide near the palace. Visit Nijubashi Bridge while learning about Edo Castle, samurai shoguns, and Tokyo’s imperial history.

• Continue through the Imperial Palace East Gardens, where historic stone walls, the former Edo Castle keep ruins, and the peaceful Ninomaru Garden reveal Tokyo’s past. On Mondays and Fridays, when the East Gardens are closed, the route covers the Outer Gardens, Nijubashi Bridge, and Sakuradamon Gate area.

Your experience concludes around the Roppongi or Otemachi/Tokyo Station area, depending on the option selected, bringing together Tokyo’s contemporary creativity, historic heritage, and distinctive city views.
