Getting started
Your starting point depends on the selected experience. For the Kiyomizu-dera and Gion walking tour, meet your local guide at the designated meeting point before beginning your Kyoto exploration. For the Wind Chime Festival tour, meet your English or Chinese-speaking guide at the designated H2 bus stop in front of the Keihan Bus Information Center and board the private bus to Tokoin Temple.
What to expect
Step into Kyoto’s immersive digital art world of teamLab Biovortex , where light, sound, movement, and the surrounding environment come together in constantly changing installations. Your admission lets you explore the museum as part of your selected tour.
On the walking tour option, discover Kiyomizu-dera, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its impressive wooden stage and long Buddhist history. Continue through the stone-paved lanes of Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka.
Wander through Gion- Kyoto’s iconic geisha district, where traditional wooden buildings and atmospheric streets reveal stories of Geiko and Maiko traditions.
The seasonal tour takes you to Tokoin Temple at the Wind Chime Festival where colourful pinwheels and wind chimes create a peaceful summer setting. Green tea and Japanese sweets add a traditional touch to the visit.
