We had a wonderful guide who explained so well about the architectural features and symbols throughout the cathedral. She also engaged our 9 year old grandson who enjoyed the visit as much as we did. We loved the words in Latin at the centre of the cathedral placed by Wren's son with the meaning "if you want an epitaph to Sir Christopher Wren, simply look around you!" It was lovely to pause on the hour to reflect that St Paul's is a place of worship and to say The Lord's Prayer together in our mother tongues.Olga

The certainty that we had tickets for the chosen day. I didn't know that we had to bring them printed, we had to send an email to have them printed there.Graham
