About Stedelijk Museum
As a highlight of Amsterdam’s Museumplein, the Stedelijk Museum presents an extraordinary collection, featuring bold modern masterpieces and thought-provoking contemporary works that challenge conventions and offer fresh perspectives on art.
The Stedelijk Museum was originally established in 1874 and reopened in its current form in 2012 after a major renovation.
Its 'Bathtub' extension was designed by Benthem Crouwel Architects and is a striking example of contemporary architecture.
The museum’s collection includes over 90,000 pieces, spanning painting, sculpture, design, and new media.
It is located on Museumplein, sharing the cultural square with the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum.

Regular Hours: Open daily from 10am to 6pm.
Last Entry: Final admission is at 5:15-5:30 pm.
