Mount Rigi Day Pass

Important Information

• The cogwheel trains from Goldau and Vitznau to Rigi Kulm operate daily.

• This pass is wheelchair accessible.

• Operates in all weather conditions- it is therefore recommended to dress appropriately.

Maintenance Work

Cable car from Weggis - Rigi Kaltbad is closed on the following dates for maintenance purposes:

• 6 March to 21 April 21, 2023 (in service at Easter)

• 20 Nov to 1 Dec, 2023

Timings

• The cogwheel railroad operates year-round.

Rigi Cable Cars

• From Weggis or Kräbel

  Daily: 8:10am - 7:30pm (departing every 30 minutes)

Rigi Railways

• From Arth-Goldau

  Daily: 8 to 10 departures

• From Vitznau

  Daily: 13 to 15 departures

• Your voucher will be emailed to you instantly.

• Please display the voucher on your mobile phone with a valid photo ID at any of the departure points.

• Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the start time of your tour to avoid delays.

There are three departure points that lead to Mt. Rigi. You can redeem your ticket at any of them:

Arth-Goldau

• Operates daily (Mon-Sun)

• Timings: 8 AM to 5 PM

Weggis

• Operates daily (Mon-Sun)

• Timings: 8 AM to 5 PM

Vitznau

• Operates daily (Mon-Sun)

• Timings: 8 AM to 5 PM
