Straight forward island hopping, fresh water lake island Dayang Bunting was a tourist trap but the last island Beras Besah was worth it, perfect for snorkeling.

We loved the trip around the different islands, the eagle feeding and fresh water lake. We were disappointed with the swimming spot (it was rocky and quite shallow) we have seen much better beaches and swimming spots around Langkawi. Some chairs to sit in the shade would also make for a more relaxed time at the swimming area.

A conservation fee is required for entry to Tasik Dayang Bunting and must be paid directly at the counter. The current rates are RM10 (Adult) and RM5 (Child) for Malaysian citizens (with MyKad/MyKid), and RM20 (Adult) and RM10 (Child) for foreign visitors, and is subjected to change by the local council
