The views from the Langkawi Cable Car and SkyBridge are absolutely beautiful and the experience itself was one of the highlights of our visit. We did have a difficult start. I accidentally bought tickets for Malaysian citizens instead of international visitors, which meant our tickets were not valid. This was my mistake and I understood that they were non-refundable. We bought new international tickets online, but were then told it could take up to two hours before they became active. Travelling together as a family, this naturally made things a little complicated. What stood out to me was the way the staff handled the situation. They genuinely tried to help us and eventually managed to get everything sorted out. We could finally go up and enjoy the cable car, SkyBridge and the fantastic views. A big thank you to the staff for making the effort to help us!

As a civil engineer i am truly amazed at the design and construction of the support structure of the pedestrian bridge. The smooth ride in the cable car up to the peak was so steep making it an unforgettable experience. However the connection between the cable car and the pedestrian Bridge via the sky glide leave much to be desired as the waiting period for the glide was agonisingly long and tiring especially for the older folks and parents with babies in arms. Im sure there are solutions.

The Langkawi Cable Car was easily one of the highlights of my trip to Langkawi. The journey up was breathtaking , watching the turquoise sea, lush rainforest and surrounding islands slowly unfold beneath me was something I could have stared at forever. I went with my parents and these are memories we will live with forever . Booking with Headout was seamless too

We found Headout easy to use. We were waiting to see what the weather was before purchasing our tickets, and appreciated the flexibility of having this option. We thoroughly enjoyed our day at Langkawi Sky Walk and Cable. There isn't a lot of shelter so make sure you are prepared for the heat. We finished our day with a Cekguu's ice cream sundae!

The main issue was the weather. Unfortunately, it was raining and the venue was covered by clouds, so we weren’t able to take the beautiful pictures we were hoping for. Sadly, they were unable to reschedule or offer a refund due to the weather. Despite this, we still had a good experience and enjoyed our time there. It was just unfortunate that the weather affected the views and photos. My advice would be to check the weather forecast carefully before going and avoid visiting during monsoon season if possible, especially if you’re hoping to take lots of beautiful photos. ☁️🌧️📸

Additional information

To reach the SkyBridge, guests will have to take a 10-minute walk along a jungle trail. While the walk is enjoyable, it may present a challenge for the elderly and young children. To avoid this, you can opt for SkyGlide tickets.

The availability of Skybridge is subject to change depending on weather conditions (it might be closed for a short period of time).

Children must be accompanied by a paying adult at all times.
