Excellent Istanbul Experience – Highly Recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We booked the Galata Tower experience through Headout, and overall it was a fantastic experience. The visit to Galata Tower offered spectacular panoramic views of Istanbul and the Bosphorus. It was definitely worth visiting, especially around sunset. The booking process through Headout was smooth and hassle-free, and having multiple major attractions included in one experience made planning our Istanbul sightseeing much easier. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Istanbul for the first time! A great combination of history, sightseeing and breathtaking views. 🇹🇷❤️

Fortunately, I didn't have to wait long to enter the tower. It was a very hot day, and the top levels were quite warm, which some visitors might find uncomfortable. The view is stunning, the historic architecture is impressive, and there is interesting historical information presented throughout the tower levels. Definitely worth a visit!

I found the visit itself fantastic: the view, the displays. The audioguide, however, I found less useful: it goes into too many details before first presenting the big picture (Who / when set up the first structure, why this location, what functions it had over the years, what materials and construction style it belongs to, who lived in this part of Istanbul, etc). The GUIDE, Abdullah Dural, however, was FANTASTIC! He had an answer to all my questions and was extremely kind and sweet. I would give the guide more responsibility for explaining everything to the tourists rather than using the disappointing audioguide.

Very user friendly app, tickets super easy to buy and download and also the audio guide was very easy to use and helpful. The price was lower than other providers, would definitely recommend. Thanks to these tickets we didn't have to queue.

Tudo funcionou conforme o esperado. Nossa experiência foi excelente. A vista do topo da torre é espetacular. É possível visualizar europa e ásia. A visita à Torre GALATA é imperdível e a compra antecipada dos ingressos agiliza o acesso.

I was under the impression that I paid extra for this ticket so I wouldn't have to wait online but it did not work out that way we had to wait on a very long line.

What’s not allowed

Food and drinks are not allowed inside the tower.

Pets are not permitted at the venues.

Accessibility

The Galata Tower is not wheelchair accessible.

Additional information

The ticket is valid for the entire day within the venue’s operating hours (Monday–Sunday: 8:30am–10pm; Saturday until 11pm).

During high season, especially in summer, you may encounter wait times to enter the monument.

Elevator access is available to the top of the tower.

This ticket only allows you to bypass the ticket line at the venue; the line may vary by season and crowd levels.

You must go through the elevator queue, which cannot be skipped with this ticket and may involve an average wait time of 40–45 minutes, especially during peak hours.
