What's not allowed

• Pets are not permitted on this experience.
• Children under 12 years old are not allowed inside the sumo stable.
• Infants must not sit on laps, and infant seats are not available.
• Disruptive behavior or disrespect toward sumo stable rules may result in denied entry without refund.
• Only tatami areas are accessible during the experience; all other areas within the sumo stable are off-limits.
• If you leave the sumo stable before the end of practice, re-entry is not permitted.
• Photography during practice is subject to each sumo stable’s policy and may sometimes not be allowed.

Accessibility

• This experience is not wheelchair or stroller accessible, and some locations may not be accessible for those with mobility needs.
• Most sumo stables do not provide chairs, so guests are expected to sit directly on tatami (straw mat flooring).

Additional information

• Arrive on time, as late arrivals cannot join the tour and no refunds or rescheduling are provided for missed tours.
• Seating is first-come, first-served, and later arrivals may be seated farther from the front.
• The group may be divided and assigned to different sumo stables depending on participant numbers.
• Sumo stables may cancel or adjust practice schedules at the last minute; a full refund will be provided if the stable cancels.
• The length of the practice session may vary, which may cause the tour to end earlier or later than estimated.
• Restroom access may not be available during practice, so please use facilities before the tour begins.
• Reservation changes or requests on the day of the tour cannot be accommodated.
• The tour time or date may change depending on sumo stable availability.
• Dress appropriately for the weather, as temperatures can reach up to 40°C/110°F in summer and drop to -5°C/20°F in winter.
