I have no real complaints about the Alilaguna service per se but people should know in advance: It's a long walk from the arrivals area to the embarkation point and back. There are no toilets on the (properly, heads, I guess!) so go before you get on. The queues are long and I almost didn't get on the boat to Venice -- but, happily, I did (it helped that I was a single). There is little ventilation on the boat so it was hot and stuffy. It's ideal for Murano, where I stayed, as it's the first stop there and the last one back. But you may have to plan to take an earlier one you might not otherwise need to do in case you don't get on. There were only a few seats left when I went -- at 06:40 am -- so I got lucky but had I been denied boarding on the next boat (an hour later at that time of day) I'd not have made it on time. Some people were allowed to keep their luggage with them, taking up seating space. But I arrived safely in both directions so that is the important thing. The pricing seems fair.

Easy to find the boarding area of the Alilaguna blue line. No possibility for nice views as promised during the purchase of the ticket. Everyone was obliged to sit down inside the covered area and the windows were closed so that people do not get wet.

This service was amazing, everything went smoothly and we were grateful as we had just come off 35 hours in transit from Sydney to Venice via Shanghai. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to get from Venice airport to the heart of Venice.

Lots of signs to follow to find the dock after i collected my luggage. Staff helped me with my bags on and off. Staff happily confirmed I was at the right dock to get off.

Super easy to find the pick up location at the airport. Comfortable transfer. It was slightly difficult to find the pick up location but we managed to by asking a local.

Easy to book Regular and on time Rather crowded especially as there is not sufficient luggage space and lots of passengers had to hang on rather awkwardly to their cases.

Bonne expérience. Mais il serait intéressant que le personnel de bord indique où sont les gilets de sauvetage et qu'ils aillent moins vite car de fois c'est inquiétant.

Round-trip tickets must be kept securely and used within 30 days from the date of first validation.

In case of fog or bad weather, service may switch to a car transfer to Piazzale Roma.

Service staff is available at Desk 71 (Marco Polo Airport, first floor).

After arrival at Marco Polo Airport, follow signage that leads to the dock/water-bus/vaporetto area. You will have to walk for 5–10 minutes from your terminal to the dock to board your boat.
