From Cairo: 1 or 2-Hour Private Felucca Ride on the Nile River with Hotel Transfers

The boat ride was nice, but the area was limited by bridges on both sides. For one hour this is no problem, but we had the two hours tour. This meant we did the same circle twice, which was a bit boring. Overall the experience was very chill and laid back, but we expected to see a bit more of the city than a single pond.

Impeccable service, very friendly driver and captain. I deducted one star because the felucca's navigation was limited to the space between the two bridges.

My husband and I went on the private 1 hour felucca ride on Aug.19 and had a wonderful time! We went in the evening and it was so peaceful-- feeling the breeze and seeing the lights of the city. Our captain was friendly and professional (an older gentleman from Luxor, unfortunately forgot his name) and explained all the sights. We also had a great driver (Ahmed?) who was super cool and shared a lot of information. Would definitely recommend!

An absolutely wonderful experience. The captain is genuine, very warm, cheerful, and incredibly kind. He created a calm and friendly atmosphere. The sunset cruise was magnificent, with a splendid view of the city. Everything went perfectly, including a very smooth taxi transfer. We recommend this cruise 100%.

Our driver picked us up from the hotel exactly on time. When we got to the docks, the felucca boat wasn't available, so he advocated on our behalf to ensure we got the boat we'd book. This meant jumping back in the car to go further down the docks to get a free felucca. Our driver was then also our boat driver, and did a superb job. We had the whole felucca to ourselves, and it was just peaceful and magical. If you want an authentic experience rather than a floating party bus, go for this option. 100 % recommend!
