The real-time location of the bus was often not online and the bus was not on time or much too late at the desired spot. Also, the ear buds or buttons on the display often did not work, especially at the popular seats....jammer. Also the departure location of the boat could be indicated more clearly. Nice to have free earphones and a map, though.

The excursion was well arranged. Tickets via qr code directly obtainable via email and to be handed in when boarding the hop on hop off bus in Porto. However, the boat tour was very massive and no place to sit on board. HEADOUT had everything else offered well and nice price for deal.

Particularly for a member of our group with limited mobility, the yellow bus proved to be an excellent way to see the city. The two day option allowed us to do both tours plus the bridges cruise. Although there was some overlap in the two tours, combined, they gave us a pretty thorough overview of Porto.

Iconic Six Bridges River Cruise

The six bridges of Porto are world-famous and you’ll get to see them up close on a rabelo boat tour of the Douro River. Sail under the double-decker Dom Luís I Bridge. It stands at 591 feet and was built in 1881–85. Other notable bridges include the railroad-focused Maria Pia bridge and São João Bridge, the Arrábida Bridge, the Ponte do Infante, and Ponte de Freixo.

What to bring
