The boat tour is really beautiful, and the locations you're able to see are lovely. The tour guide is an excellent driver and very helpful and friendly. However, he spoke in German for almost the entire 70 minutes, but the English audio guide tour was much shorter and less informative. There were about 15 locations, and no stop had an audio longer than 3 minutes. For most of the tour, I was sitting silently while waiting for the next tour audio to begin. I don't feel like I learned nearly as much about Leipzig as the German-speaking passengers.

Poor organization: I was asked by phone to be at the city harbour at 12:45 instead of the agreed time at 13:30. However, no boat was sailing at this time, and the guide of the next boat at 13:15 didn't know anything about the postponement. This affected two other people apart from me. As two people who had been announced didn't show up, I was able to join them at 13:15. The tour is otherwise very nice, although the constant witty remarks from the boatman annoyed me. But that's a matter of taste.

Very nice to discover a part of Leipzig from the boat! It was a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. However, the guide's explanations were not easy to understand acoustically.
