Pro tips to help you make a pick

We recommend you plan your day strategically and arrive at Belantis early in the day. It will give you more time to spend at the attractions.

If you are comfortable riding the roller coasters by yourself, take advantage of the single-rider lines and fast-track your entry to some popular roller coasters.

Make sure to check the weather report before setting out for the day. Pack a hat and sunscreen for the scorching summer. Bring along a light jacket and an umbrella if you plan to visit in the fall months.

The Belantis app is a must-have when visiting the theme park. It shows wait times for certain rides, provides schedules and park maps, and even lets you order food for pick-up to save time.

While most shops within Belantis allow card payments, small shop vendors may only accept cash. Please carry some cash if you plan to shop from the park.

Belantis supports eco-friendly initiatives and makes utmost efforts to save water and electricity. You can contribute to their cause by carrying water bottles and filling them from the water fountains, instead of purchasing plastic water bottles.

While it can be tempting to rush through the park and get to as many roller coasters and themed areas as possible, take breaks whenever you need to. It is far too common to faint out of exhaustion, especially if the sun is high in the sky.

About BELANTIS Adventure realm

The Belantis theme park in Leipzig is one of the most popular amusement parks in East Germany. Sprawling over 27 hectares, it offers approximately 60 different attractions spread across 8 themed areas. In addition to roller coasters and water rides, you can go on a treasure-hunting expedition in the Valley of the Pharaohs, witness a medieval clash of swords at the Island of Knights, or unearth the rich traditions of the Native American Prairie. These adventures are perfect for visitors of all ages.

The Curse of the Pharaoh roller coaster is known to have the longest mirrored section in Europe, creating a disorienting experience for visitors. Hold on to your hats as you walk along this section!

Unlike traditional gondolas in Venice, Belantis offers a unique gondola ride in the Land of Gondolets. Instead of just sailing along canals, these gondolas offer a glimpse of the underwater world.

The power-packed, adrenaline-inducing ‘Huracan' at Belantis isn’t just for show. Housed within a big pyramid, this roller coaster once held the Guinness World Record for the steepest incline on a ride. The first drop is angled at 95 degrees and the ride reaches up to 85 km/hour.

The theme park’s entrance is designed to resemble a medieval castle, complete with turrets and a drawbridge. The gate is expansive and grand. Its size matches the park’s area, which is spread across 27 hectares.

The Belantis Adventure Realm is built on a former open-cast lignite mine. You may find remnants of the mine around the theme park.
