Experience the elegance of Japan in a premium silk kimono at Kouichi Store, a kimono company founded in 1852.
Unlike standard synthetic kimonos, our premium kimonos are made from genuine silk, offering a luxurious texture, beautiful sheen, and an elegant appearance.
Your experience begins at Kouichi Store, located inside the traditional Rakuu-tei Tea House in Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden. Our experienced staff will help you select your kimono and provide professional dressing and simple hairstyling for women.
Preparation takes approximately 60–90 minutes. Once dressed, explore Shinjuku Gyoen at your own pace and enjoy its seasonal scenery—from cherry blossoms and lush greenery to autumn leaves and peaceful winter landscapes.
The kimono must remain inside Shinjuku Gyoen and be returned by 5:00 PM. We recommend choosing an earlier time slot to enjoy more time in the garden.
