It was not the tour that the title says but the one about the secrets of Madrid which was very interersting becquse you can learn qbout the history of the city and discover details that you surely missed if not with a tour. Alex was friendly, active and answering all our questions. Definitely worth doing it.

The Alcázar blends Islamic, Mudéjar, Gothic, and Renaissance architecture, but what makes the visit special are the courtyards, the tile details, and especially the gardens. The Cathedral is huge and impressive, but the Giralda gives a completely different dimension to the city.

We visited the Giralda, the cathedral, and then we went to see the Royal Palace. There were quite a few people, but the line we had to wait in to get in moved reasonably fast. The sites were all very interesting.

Tickets were a good price and had no issues using them. Cathedral was incredible (warm in there so take a fan). Giralda tower was great too. Only issue was the skip-the-queue section of the ticket wasn't valid, had to join the normal queue to get in.

I found the cathedral majestic. On the other hand, I found climbing the Giralda pointless: too many people at the top and the view was restricted by the protective grates. The view of Seville is more interesting from Las Setas.
