Seville never fails to amaze its visitors, and a visit to the Real Alcázar is no exception! It’s the perfect place to escape the heat, soak up some history, and enjoy wandering through the vast gardens! If you love parks and have some free time, this experience is for you! To see everything at a leisurely pace, allow about 3 hours for your visit, so be sure to book in advance. Until March 31, closing time is 5:00 PM; starting April 1, it’s extended to 7:00 PM! A tip: buy your tickets online! I used Headout for the first time and it was perfect! There were a few issues at the entrance, but it was the guards’ fault—they couldn’t handle the huge crowd of people rushing to visit the gardens… Perfect experience!

Loved the idea of QR code guiding but wish I'd been told to bring headphones. We're not all Gen Z visitors! Many others in the same situation. The voiced description coming from all angles in 3 languages became quite distracting. The Alcazar is beautiful, such grandeur - and I was genuinely awestruck by the size and quality of the interior that remains so well preserved after centuries. The gardens are immense and although the current season means we didn't see the plants and flowers at their best, the design and upkeep are wonderful. The peacocks would not play ball and did not display their feathers but their distinct haunting call resounded throughout. All in all a lovely afternoon. I wish I'd had more time there.

The Alcázar of Seville and Seville Cathedral are wheelchair accessible.

Guide dogs and emotional support animals are allowed within the Alcazar and the cathedral, subject to producing the official documentation.

Wheelchair users are prohibited from climbing the La Giralda.

People with vertigo, claustrophobia, anaemia, tendency to dizziness, heart problems, and/or respiratory problems are advised not to climb the La Giralda.

Keep in mind that the wheelchairs cannot be larger than 70cm wide, 120cm long, and 135cm high. If your wheelchair exceeds these parameters, you can contact the operator to assist you.
