Mako is SeaWorld Orlando's flagship hypercoaster and reaches ~200 feet tall. SeaWorld markets it as Orlando's tallest, fastest, and longest roller coaster, with shark theming based on a mako's hunting pattern and a layout built for sustained speed.

Plan your visit

Main Entrance (Front Gate)

Located at the front gate facing Sea Harbor Drive, this is the only public entrance used by regular guests. Visitors coming from the main parking lot, hotel shuttles, buses, taxis, and the designated rideshare area all enter here. Expect security screening before the turnstiles, followed by ticket scanning for e-tickets or physical passes. If you have a voucher-style ticket, you may need ticket-window or Will Call validation first. Step-free paths lead in from the arrival areas, and stroller, wheelchair, and ECV rentals are available near the entrance. Lines are usually heaviest near opening and during special events, so earlier arrival helps.
