Located at 30 Avenue Corentin Cariou, this is the primary entrance to the museum, directly facing Parc de la Villette and just steps from the Porte de la Villette Metro station (Line 7). The entrance is fully wheelchair accessible, with wide automatic doors, ramps, and step-free access to ticket counters and security. Clear signage in French and English guides visitors from the street and public transport stops. This entrance is recommended for all visitors, including families with strollers and those with reduced mobility.
Parc de la Villette Entrance
Accessible via the park side, this entrance is ideal for visitors coming from the Grande Halle de la Villette, the Geode dome, or the canal area. It features step-free access and is close to the children’s play areas. Wheelchair users and families will find smooth, paved paths leading directly to the museum doors. Signage and staff are available to assist with directions.
Regular Hours: Open Tuesday to Saturday from 9:30am to 6:00pm, and Sundays from 9:30am to 7:00pm.
Closed on Mondays, January 1, May 1, and December 25.
Last Entry: Final admission is 1 hour before closing time. For timed activities (such as the Planetarium, Argonaute submarine, and Cité des Enfants), entry is only possible at your reserved slot—please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time.
