My visit to the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel Simply unforgettable! From the moment you walk through the entrance arches, you know you're about to experience something out of this world. Walking through the galleries surrounded by classical sculptures, Renaissance maps, and the dazzling Raphael Rooms leaves you breathless at every step... The amount of art and history packed into every hallway is astronomical. However, the crowning moment comes upon entering the Sistine Chapel. The silence hanging in the room commands immediate reverence. Looking up and seeing Michelangelo's The Creation of Adam and The Last Judgment in person gives you goosebumps; no book or photo does justice to the level of detail and dramatic intensity of the colors in real life. Even though it tends to be quite crowded and involves plenty of walking, it's absolutely worth every single minute and second of the wait. Hands down one of the best experiences of my life and an absolute must-see if you're visiting Rome.

Visiting the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel was an unforgettable experience. The entire visit was incredibly well organised, and the skip-the-line access made the experience much easier, especially with the large crowds. The museums are filled with breathtaking artwork, beautiful architecture, fascinating history and incredible details at every turn. The Sistine Chapel was definitely the highlight and seeing Michelangelo’s work in person was truly amazing. Our Headout booking process was simple and convenient, and the instructions provided were clear and easy to follow. We were able to enjoy the visit without worrying about tickets or long queues. Overall, this was one of the highlights of our Rome trip, and I would definitely recommend visiting the Vatican Museums and booking through Headout.

We did indeed get in quickly and skipped the line. But this option is for those who are consciously willing to pay twice as much as the ticket costs on the official Vatican website. You should check what the official Vatican website is, because this one also showed up for me as vaticanmusei. If you plan your visit to the museums early enough—unfortunately I didn't and got stuck with this cost—you can pay a lot less. Second thing, if you're used to Italians, the guides running half an hour late shouldn't be an issue. Our entry was scheduled for 8:00 AM, and the official email said to arrive 15 minutes early, so we rushed and even managed to get there by 7:40 AM. The guides came out of the gate well after 8:15 AM.

The skip the que is excellent at this time of year, ie. Arrived on the 10th October in rome, I had previously before arrival discovered the Headout app. Found my interest! And booked accordingly! Looking at the general ques, I was delighted, in fact, I made a comment just before the Sistine Chapel! The longest wait was infact to the ladies toilets! Don't be shy in talking your Camera out in the Vatican museum! Its the Sistine Chapel where you will be strictly ordered to turn your Camera off! And its understandable! Adhere to the standard! And your experience will be exceptional! Remember, your walking on the stones of Popes, And looking at artifacts of the Troy era. Thats BC.

Easy access and skipping the line. It was my first time with Headout and my first time visiting the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel and oh boy it did not disappoint. I was completely in awe! Being able to see in person and experience the beauty and grandeur of the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel was a great privilege, a lifetime opportunity to appreciate and to cherish. Given the time and resources, I will go through the whole experience again and make sure to spend more time inside the Sistine Chapel!!!

We booked the skip the line guided tour and Marta was our guide. She was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly and welcoming. There is so much to see at the Vatican, it is impossible to do it all in one day. I would also recommend climbing the top of St Peters Basilica (this is an extra charge of 10 euros if you don't mind climbing the 500+ steps or 15 euros if you want to get the lift and cut out the first 200 steps. )
