The San Diego Zoo is exceptionally well maintained, and it’s clear the animals are cared for and placed in environments that suit them. Every employee we interacted with was warm, helpful, and always smiling. They answered all our questions so sweetly, which made the experience even better. Adding to that, the Headout app made booking our tickets incredibly easy. The app was simple to use, gave quick access to all booking details, and made our trip from Boston to San Diego feel seamless. The zoo was world class. As someone who had never been there before, felt navigating the zoo was a challenge. At times the signage was sporadic and the on site maps confusing. I applaud the zoo for its top notch commitment to the various species and to the environment. I would add a footnote to any written material regarding the ability to be able to walk distances and climb some steep hills. That being said, it was definitely worth experiencing.

Was easy to find and enter. It was a brisk day but all staff was still present and informative. The park was clean. This was my first trip here in over 20 years and it has changed so much and yet so little. I brought my best friend who had never been to the pacific coast and he absolutely enjoyed the day. There were a few things we weren't able to see likely due to weather and we still enjoyed the day and seeing so much. I can't wait until our next trip out here to come again. This was a staple trip when I was growing up in southern Nevada.

We bought our tickets online, so the enterance was very smooth and fast. There was no line. After entering we were greeted by employee who took pictures of us as a family. They have a great variety of animals that my kids were so happy to see.

This was the best experience I ever had , amazing zoo so beautiful and huge , its like I went to a tropical forest, I saw all the animals , I appreciate that there was koalas there and some animals I never seen before , I will recommend to family and friends and all the world , will visit again.
