The yacht experience was brilliant, very well set out, great audio commentary, halfway through there's an opportunity to have afternoon tea, no booking required, we were able to just walk in., very reasonably priced too. Was a bit confused about how to get there with the combined sightseeing bus as was told that the only bus that takes you to the yacht was a different company (blue bus) and ours was the red sightseeing bus, however they took us and wasn't until we got back on the bus to get back to the city we were told we weren't on the correct bus, so that was confusing as it's the only bus company that goes that way. The bus driver did however let us in as it wasn't busy! So just be careful when purchasing the combo ticket, you might not be able to get there.

On a visit from Bristol to my home town Edinburgh, I took my nephew Graeme to visit the Royal Yacht Britanni as neither of us had been on her before. The audio headsets were brilliant at describing the rooms and giving background information on the royal visits to the ship. It was lovely to see around the ship and I could well imagine why our late Queen loved her time spent on board. and how devastated she must have felt to lose her. Well worth visiting and very enjoyable, the time just flew by. I attach a photo of my nephew in the ratings bar !

Lovely, friendly welcome when we arrived. A well presented and informative display of Britannia's history followed, leaving us excited about getting on board. The Audio Guide was brilliant...it was easy to use and gave us a sense of privacy as we moved around the ship, even when we were in busy areas. We left feeling that we had been given a V.I.P. insight in to life on board The Royal Yacht. A Superb day was had...we would thoroughly recommend a visit.

Easy to book tickets, this is a fantastic attraction to visit with a very informative audio guide. Good transport links and every effort has been made to make it as accessible as possible. Visiting is relaxed with a self paced tour and the tearoom for midway refreshments is not to be missed! Some lovely souvenirs in the gift shop too and every staff member was welcoming and helpful.

As 3 royal fans this experience was fabulous. Very fair price. The audio guide was easy to use and provided interesting information. You are free to wander once the audio route is completed. We stayed on for cream tea in the restaurant which was elegant and not overpriced for the service and food provided. Highly recommend

This was a great tour of such an iconic piece of history. It was very cool to think we were walking the same steps and seeing the yacht as it was when it was being used by the royal family. I would highly recommend this experience and the ease of obtaining tickets through Headout. We had no problems at all with our visit.

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Britannia - seeing the ship and gleaming engine room as well as the royal memorabilia. All staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The only negative for me was the cylindrical stairway on land which we used to move between decks as I don't like heights; however I always found someone to walk down the stairway with me.
