CoupleVerified booking3 weeks ago5/5The reservation went perfectly, but I wasn't able to arrive at the scheduled time because the underground parking garage is no longer there, and finding a place to park wasn't easy. Since we had already purchased our tickets online, we were able to enter immediately without waiting even a minute. Thank you, and kudos on the organization.MMassimiliano I
FamilyVerified booking3 weeks ago5/5The tour was very enjoyable. Despite the sweltering heat, our guide took us on a two-hour tour of the Royal Palace of Caserta, helping us discover the place through countless anecdotes and a wealth of details. A wonderful experience!RRobert R
CoupleVerified bookingLast week5/5The royal palace is enormous and is reminiscent of the other great houses of Europe like Versailles and Schonbrunn. Parts of the building are used as an art gallery showing contemporary art in contrast to the centuries old pakace. The extensive gardens were beautiful, and were made more enjoyable by hiring a guide and golf cart. It was a very hot day, ans it would have been challenging to walk the length of the gardens ( about 3 km, I think). The trains station is located across the street from the palace, making it very easy to get there and back.TTeresa M
CoupleVerified booking3 weeks ago5/5The Royal Palace of Caserta is a spectacular open-air sight—it’s a shame that the park’s poor maintenance means only part of it is visible. Another major drawback is the lack of a dedicated parking lot for visitors to the palace, which makes finding parking more difficult and adds an extra cost. The palace is very beautiful, but precisely because of its worldwide fame, it should be maintained much better. Overall, it’s a wonderful experience that’s definitely worth having, even though there are a few typical Italian shortcomings.JJanet M
CoupleVerified booking5 days ago5/5A truly fantastic experience at the Royal Palace of Caserta! The skip-the-line service was incredibly convenient and allowed us to avoid long waits, making the visit even more enjoyable and well-organized. The guide was truly excellent: I was particularly impressed by her professionalism and her clear, interesting, and engaging explanations of the palace’s history. The Royal Palace is simply spectacular and is definitely worth a visit! Highly recommended!
Bigger the palace, bigger the king
The Bourbons of Naples could be considered the overlords of the lands. Step inside their extravagantly furnished home and be baffled by an enormous collection of paintings, drawings, frescoes, books, bronzes, and other objects all around the Royal Apartments. Stop by the Grand Staircase of Honor, the neo-classical Royal Palatine Chapel, the spectacular horse-shoe-shaped Royal Court Theatre, the inspiring Terrae Motus Collection, and another picture gallery showcasing paintings that date back to the 16th century AD.
The beautiful Royal Park
Designed using an innovative ‘telescope effect’, the park is a beautiful space full of fountains, statues, and greenery. Visit the park to check out the French-inspired ‘Parterre’, the majestic Fountain of the Three Dolphins, the godly Fountain of Aeolus, the Fountain of Ceres, and many more wonderful cascades. Stop by the fascinating English Garden, the charming San Leucio Belvedere, and the Carolino Aqueduct, and discover the wildlife sanctuary at San Silvestro Oasis.
