CoupleVerified booking4 days ago5/5Luis was an exceptional guide. He explained everything in great detail, in a clear, engaging, and very interesting way. You could tell he had a wealth of knowledge about the Catacombs of St. Callixtus and, above all, that he enjoyed sharing it with the group. His motivation, enthusiasm, and storytelling made the tour much more entertaining and special. He was approachable, friendly, and very attentive. Without a doubt, one of the best guides we've ever had and a key reason why we enjoyed the tour so much. Highly recommended!MMarta E
FamilyVerified booking3 weeks ago5/5A truly wonderful tour, revisited after a whopping 39 years! The catacombs have always held a very special charm—a place of faith, yet also steeped in history. The only downside is that, just like back then, we weren’t able to visit the third and fourth underground levels. It would be wonderful to see them in the future to get a complete picture of the entire historical period during which they were used.KKimberly E
CoupleVerified bookingLast week5/5Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. We learned so much about the catacombs. It is another amazing part of history in the area. It was also meaningful to learn more about the experiences of the early Christians.SSophie M
GroupVerified booking5 days ago4/5It was interesting and pleasantly cool. The only downside is that all the graves have been looted, so you “only” get to see and learn about history. There are no photos because photography is prohibited there.AAlejandro C
