The tour includes a guided tour of the Catacombs of San Sebastiano, one of Rome’s many underground mausoleums for the early Christians! Dig deep with a guide in your language of choice.

The Catacombs are a sacred place, it’s recommended to wear clothing that covers the shoulders and knees.

Please note that the constant temperature inside is about 17° C and there is high humidity.

What’s not allowed

Animals are not allowed, even with pet carriers.

The Catacombs are not wheelchair accessible and it is not recommended for people suffering with claustrophobia as well as for those with serious walking problems: there are 100 uneven steps along the route and no possibility to sit down; there are no elevators, and the walking surface is uneven.
