Visit the Archaeological Park of the Baths of Baia to explore 2,000-year-old Roman ruins and baths.

    • Take a walk among the ancient Roman buildings and baths that were built more around the 1st century at the Baths of Baia.

    • Explore the Roman thermal building of Venus and the cold-water baths of Mercury. At the Mercury temple, see one of the oldest instances of a dome.

    • Discover Sosandra Nucleus, named after the Roman copy of the Greek statue Aspasia, depicting Aphrodite Sondara, located in the main room.

    Healing Waters of Rome

    The Bath of Mercury stands out for its unique architectural elements, including a central pool and circular chamber, suggesting its potential use for therapeutic purposes. The nymphaeum, with its central pool and maritime baths near the sea, creates a gorgeous view. The Venus building is an octagonal structure with stucco decorations and thermal rooms. It houses 3 levels, each said to have been made during a different age. Walk through the example of Roman grandeur and walk the same grounds as ancient Romans.
