Know before you go

What's not allowed

Keep in mind food and beverages (unless they're for babies and young children or guests with dietary restrictions), weapons, selfie sticks, tripods, and drones are not permitted. Pack wisely!

It is not allowed to photograph or record video areas under construction in Universal Studios Japan.

Re-entry is not allowed once guests exit the venue.

Your pets cannot tag along for this experience.

Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the venue except in areas with ashtrays.

Accessibility

It will be required for wheelchair users to switch to the seats in the attraction.

It is required to get in touch with a crew member for guests with a wig, prosthetic limb, plaster cast, or a medical assistant tool.

Choose safety and comfort: This experience is not the best fit for people with abnormal blood pressure, cardiac issues, back, neck, hip, or spinal disorders, motion sickness, vertigo, claustrophobia, acrophobia, and pregnant women.

This experience is not suitable for people who have medical conditions that could be aggravated by loud sounds, fog, pitch-black darkness, strobes, and strong smells.

Your guide dogs are welcome at the venue.

To use the "Area Timed Entry Ticket" at Universal Studios Japan, you must reserve a specific time slot either before your visit or on the day you arrive.

You can make this reservation through the Universal Studios Japan official app or directly at a kiosk located within the park.

Guests cannot select their preferred entry time for each ride.

Guests can only enter specific rides during the time shown on their Express Pass.

Entry times to the Super Nintendo World™ and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter are randomly assigned by Universal Studios Japan. Be present during the assigned time to ensure entry.

The operating hours are subject to change. Please check the booking page to see the operating hours on your intended day of visit.

Attractions may be closed on certain days for maintenance.

Operation of attractions is subject to change without prior notice or liability.

Each Express Pass for closed attractions allows you to experience one of the designated attractions and reach out to on-site staff.
