Religious Sites in Milan

The view was phenomenal! We never founds a pkace for the audio guide. It seemed incomplete without the cathedral tour.

I recommend going to the terraces first and then go downstairs directly to Duomo. Cathedral is wonderful. Do not miss terraces, you will see the roofs from near by and all those magnificient decorations and enjoy wonderful view.

Audio guide very detailed and interesting on various topics such as interior, facade, various sacrophages, organ, candelabra, terraces, etc..

There were 4 parts to the audio tour - exterior facade, interior, rooftop terrace and museum. We decided not to see the museum, but it was interesting to listen to the audio anyway. Helped pass the time while we waited in line. The major mistake we made was in doing the other 3 parts in the order listed. We started with the exterior facade, then we're ready to continue with the interior. But even though we already had prepaid tickets, and we'd already checked out our listening devices, we still had to wait in a 2 block long line for nearly an hour to get back inside! When we finished the interior, we had to get in another half hour long line to go up to the rooftop terrace.

Magnificent place, nothing to add. Also included in the ticket was a visit to the museum in the building next door, if a guard inside hadn't told us, we wouldn't have known.
