It's wonderful to be picked up by a tour-support-driver, at the hotel you're staying at; no fuss with organising other people to adept to adept to your needs: the tour starts at your door-step. The guide was knowlegable, many questions could be asked, and a real PLUS: his photos were fantastic. An additional extra were the tours on offer: carriage-ride, visiting two local shops providing insights into papyrus-fabrication and the use of essential oils.

The tour was good, However the guide suggested that we ride the "Hantour" which is Horse-drawn carriage. The cost was very excessive USD 40 per person. I ended up paying USD 80 for two of us . We found out later that the cost should not exceed 10 USD for the entire carriage per trip. Unfortunately our guide Ahmed claim that he has negotiated the cost and ask us to pay!!!
