The Prague "Castle" is actually a complex with several different buildings you can visit. It is worth paying the ticket and doing the visit to enter the palace, the cathedral, the tiny church and the golden street. It's like a tourist must, so it's pretty full, with some queues and the feeling of being rushed inside the buildings as you just get carried by the crowd. The 20 minute introduction of the tour is quite interesting to understand the history and context of the complex and what you are about to see. But navigating the area and the entrance to all the buildings can get tricky and it is easy to get turned around. It would be useful to get indications on the tour about the entrances beyond a abstract and not to scale map they give out.

Firstly, the castle was easy to reach by streetcar from the Hotel Ariston, via the staircase, and we were able to find the person who explained the tour to us. We had booked our tickets online well in advance. I found the cathedral the most beautiful, if you could even choose a superlative here. The visit was on a Sunday, but I didn't think there were too many people around. It was easy to see everything. I haven't been to Prague for over 40 years, so if you love cities, I can only recommend Prague as one of the most beautiful big cities.

Unesco heritage castle to absolutely visit. At the time of meeting, a small presentation is given in English, then we are divided into groups according to language for a real introduction of the place. Unfortunately I remember the name of our "guide" but she was great: lots of news and trivia about the castle and the city. After the introduction you start the tour on your own with the audi guide but it is rather small compared to the totality of the points to visit. Overall recommended.

Stunning location , shame that are visit was on a very wet day , so very busy lots of queues , so not brilliant. Standing in the rain, the cathedral is not the most spectacular inside . Queued for 30 mins at least to see crown jewel in a very big hall which was empty beside the jewels. Little cottage s were fab very pretty little street , think overall worth the money just for the area of we're the castle is set

The castle itself and the church are magnificent, and offer wonderful views of the city and the Danube. The underground hospital was fascinating.

Wonderful experience. You cannot go to Prague and not visit the castle and all its monuments. St. Visto's Cathedral is a spectacle. Baroque and Gothic art come together and create a constellation of lights and colors that bring it to life and enhance the various paintings. Not to be missed is the Golden Alley and the armor exhibit-a historical tour in a setting that takes you back in time. Do not miss visiting it
