The Prague "Castle" is actually a complex with several different buildings you can visit. It is worth paying the ticket and doing the visit to enter the palace, the cathedral, the tiny church and the golden street. It's like a tourist must, so it's pretty full, with some queues and the feeling of being rushed inside the buildings as you just get carried by the crowd. The 20 minute introduction of the tour is quite interesting to understand the history and context of the complex and what you are about to see. But navigating the area and the entrance to all the buildings can get tricky and it is easy to get turned around. It would be useful to get indications on the tour about the entrances beyond a abstract and not to scale map they give out.

The tickets were easy to book online and instructions on where to go/meet with the booking were good. The introductory talk was excellent, very informative and our guide had good knowledge. We would have given 5 stars but found that St Vitus Cathedral had very little information unless you purchased an audio guide. We felt that some general description on boards in Czech and English would have helped confirm what we were looking at. Similarly in St George's there were some boards but they were all in Czech. It was difficult to use a translator on a phone because of low signal, narrow space and very low lighting conditions.

Guide had a lot of knowledge, very good. Done areas could use a little longer time to get to see more. So in that sense the tour could be a bit longer. I'm not sure if the tickets we got could be reused in the attractions the same day. Was in the middle of the day so was a bit crowded. The guide radio system worked really well, except inside the signal disappeared if we got in separate rooms. Great starting point of the tour. The orange umbrella could have been more visible at meeting point and at some points during the tour, difficult to spot when it was not unfolded. Considered opening it when there are big crowds.

We booked a joint ticket for the astronomical clock and Prague Castle during the last week in October. The Czech National Day falls in this week so some of the Castle is closed. The tours were as described and expected. The guides were very good and knowledgeable. The timings were adhered to and tickets were given out to us. We had an 11 year old boy with us and we enjoyed the trip up the steps of the clock tower, but skipped some of the Castle where there were long queues. The tickets are much more expensive than buying individually from the source, but it was very convenient to just turn up and have a talk and be given tickets. That is what you are paying for. The guides told us things we would not have known if we had just bought the tickets from tourist information or at the site. All good.

It really deserves this castle + boat package, the primis the Prague Castle the largest in the world is a fantastic building, well preserved, where you can visit the halls and the Basilica inside courtyard, you are greeted by very professional guides who clearly explain all the history of the site. The boat trip is really fascinating, you can catch glimpses while sailing on the Vltava River, unique aspects and glimpses of the old city. What can I say Prague has remained in my heart and I will definitely go back.

We met the guide, who was clearly identified, and then was given a brief but entertaining overview of the various parts we were going to visit and the history of the buildings. We were then allowed to visit the four areas at our leisure. We didn't purchase the audio guide and chose to wander which meant we could avoid the crowds. Although it was raining, we saw the changing of the guards and all areas of the castle complex. It was amazing! Definitely worth visiting!

The expereince was very convienent. Upon arrival, you were organized and given instructions by one of the many helpful guides. After about a 20 minute introduction, we were able to go off and explore. We spent the whole day seeing the castle and its numerous components and while there wwre lengthy lines at times, they always went fast.
