Buckle up in your cute little yellow electric GoCar and get ready to explore the vintage town of Porto, classified as a World Heritage Site since 1996. Porto city has medieval alleyways, old-world shops, cobbled streets, and elaborate monuments. The two-hour tour will take you to the historic city center, with buildings adorned with tiles and cobbled streets, and show you all the spots of breathtaking beauty and historical interest.

Enjoy at your own pace

The GPS guides the GoCar, so even if you do not know where you are, the car always knows. GPS tells you when to turn and what you are passing by, and it waits when you stop to admire the local sights and to click photos of the tall, colorful buildings. As soon as you turn on your car again, the tour resumes where it left off.

Check out the historical sites

Start your tour in the old city as you pass Bolsa Palace, Ferreira Borges Market, Porto Cathedral, and the Coliseum of Porto. Keep hearing stories about each place as you pass by Santa Catarina Street, Carmo and Carmelitas Churches, Clérigos Tower, and Lello Bookshop. The tour will also take you to the Stock Exchange Palace, São Bento Railway Station to see its beautiful ceramic tiles, Avenue of the Allies, and Bolhão Market.

Sip on wine

Drive your GoCar to the nearby town of Vila Nova de Gaia, famous for its wine cellars. Sip on several styles of port wine, including red, white, rosé, and a port called Tawny Port, in a wine cellar. Next, go to the Monastery of Serra do Pilar. From here, see the iconic double-decker bridge, Dom Luís I Bridge. Here, you experience the reason Porto is called the "Venice of Portugal."
