The audioguide was not user friendly. I would never recommend it to anyone visiting Pompeji for the first time. There should be signs with numbers on the ruins corresponding to the right audioguide information. Without this the guide is totally useless and no value for money

Great place to visit and explore, recommend visit Naples archeological museum prior to visit to Pompeii. Please note that the tickets are available at the gate of Porta Marina.

The experience was exciting but the audio guide downloaded in English automatically so on site I had to re-download in Italian language with difficulty. Secondly, when you enter you are in sector 7 and the audio guide starts from sector 1 which makes no sense it should follow a pre-set itinerary based on the entrance

A strict dress code is enforced—discourteous clothing or shirtless attire is not permitted inside Pompeii Archaeological Park.

Large dogs over 10kg in weight and 40cm in height are not allowed, but certified guide dogs are welcome.
