Getting started

Choose your departure point in Seoul and meet your guide outside Myeongdong Station Exit 5 at 8:30 AM or Hongik Univ. Station Exit 3 at 9:00 AM. From there, travel together by round-trip transfer to the DMZ. The tour is limited to 13 guests, giving you a more comfortable setting for questions and interaction throughout the day.

What to expect

• Start with an introduction to North Korean life and society through exhibits, videos, rare items, and personal stories. The visit provides useful context before entering the DMZ.

• Meet a North Korean defector and hear a personal escape story. The live Q&A gives you the opportunity to ask questions and learn about experiences beyond the border.

• Continue into the DMZ area and visit Dora Observatory, where you can look across the border and learn more about the surrounding region.

• Walk through the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel and learn about its history and discovery from your professional guide.

• Visit this settlement within the DMZ area and gain further insight into the region and its unique position near the border.

• After the DMZ visit, stop at a local restaurant operated by a North Korean defector chef. Meals are ordered individually and are not included in the tour price.

After the restaurant visit, your DMZ tour concludes with the return journey to Seoul.
