The tour operators were great. The trip from split is too far for me. If in split, go to Krka in half the time and Trogir. Our guide was great...they managed reatroom breaks and food breaks well. Too long of a day..not their fault. Just be aware

I really liked our guide, who gave us a detailed explanation of both the park’s history and the history of Croatia. The parks are beautiful and perfectly organized, and we had plenty of time to explore everything that interested us. I highly recommend it.

The Lakes were beautiful and the guide was great. Driver too! However, the bus was very cramped and luggage in the aisles and our knees against the chair in front of each of us. This is a lot for a 3.5 hour drive one way. It is advertised as 2.5 hours.

We had a really great day! Plitvice Lakes is definitely worth a visit! We had two wonderful guides who shared lots of information about the park and the surrounding area. The driver also got us to our destination and back safely. We even had some free time and plenty of opportunities to take beautiful photos. I highly recommend it! We never had to wait in line either, since Mia mapped out a route based on where the crowds were. Truly an amazing day!

The park is amazing! But the highlight was our spectacular tour guide. When we arrived, out of nowhere, a thunderstorm hit. Our guide pivoted from the original plan and ensured the group was as protected as possible.

Plitvice Lakes National Park

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Plitvice is known for its 16 terraced lakes connected by cascading waterfalls and wooden walkways that wind through forest and water.
