We purchased the the tickets on my phone one evening at dinner. The process was simple and the tickets themselves were easy to access. We took the subway from Lisbon then hopped a bus to the the base of the castle road.it is a steep walk to get there but so worth it! The castle itself is beautiful and the grounds are spectacular. The trail from Penna to the Moorish castle is like walking in a poem. The peacocks even showed off for us! It is. Trip worth making.

Reading the reviews we knew we had to be up at The Palace 15 mins before our timed entry slot - we joined the Q and entered the inside of the Palace on time. 30 mins before our seems a rush but it was plenty of time to see everything in every room. Well worth buying tickets up front and getting a taxi from the train station.

I booked for 2 events. One event the tickets came through. The other one they were there but disappeared. Any while I'm at the event no tickets. And internet not good either. But the came through. I'm not a techie so very frustrating for me . They responded soon and I was able to access the tickets and go to my event.

I really liked it, although the inner courtyards and outdoor areas were a bit dirty; there were few trash cans and a lot of people smoking—even the palace staff.

I was never able to download the app onto my phone!!!! Every time I tried to enter my password, it told me it was incorrect!!!! I tried the "forgot password" option!!! Nothing worked! I finally managed to talk to your AI! However, I was never able to get my two audio guides for the tour! Even though I had paid for them! It cost me 10 euros on site to rent two audio devices!!! I’m really disappointed to have paid for a service I didn’t receive!!! Especially since it was the first time I’d used your activated packages! Learning the history of the "fake" castle was fascinating! Hearing about how it was infact built with concrete made to look like stone was incredible. The hidden masonic & templar symbolism was all over, walking down the well you could only imagine the fear of the canditate who was hoping to choose the right tunnel to paradise.

Please keep in mind that you must enter through the home tour entry rather than the main gate.

The walk from the Park's entrance to the Palace takes around 30 minutes. This ticket only allows access to Pena Palace. Plan your visit so that you reach Pena Palace on schedule.

Private cars are not permitted to enter this monument. It is advised to use the available walking paths or public transit. You may park your car in the historic core of Sintra or one of the nearby car parks.
