The Venice ferry service was a truly pleasant surprise! Great, the only criticism is the online ticket purchase. After successfully completing the purchase, a message appears: "You must print out the ticket!?!?" But in most cases, that’s not possible while on vacation. And it’s not even true, because a few lines further down there’s a note saying that you can print out the tickets at the ticket machines at the stops after entering the PNR code. It worked without a hitch. So why the warning “Attention, you must print out the ticket”? 🤔

All I can say is: GOOD AND AFFORDABLE. Everything went smoothly, from buying the ticket online to traveling by bus and vaporetto. The service is excellent. The vaporettos and buses run on time. We really enjoyed the vaporetto trips... you can hop on and off wherever you want. The stations are well marked, so you can't get lost. We'll be back. Thank you very much.

We used a 48 hour vaporetto pass and enjoyed the ease of use of the tickets and clear directions at all the stops. The service was very frequent and there were lots of different lines. It also allowed us to get to Burrano and Murano. It was lovely to sit outside at the back and experience all the sites along the Grand Canal. We would definitely recommend getting a pass for the convenience of unlimited travel around Venice.

We were able to make the most of our visits to more places without worrying about buying tickets, since all the vaporetto rides are included. This was such a good purchase! So easy to use. Just print off the tickets at a self-service machine and then can use on as many modes of transport as described and as often as you like within your time frame.
